Is penis enlargement really true or fiction? What do scientists and research say about that? These issues are actually of interest to a significant number of the stronger sex, who have not tripled the size of the male organ.
Today we will find out the conclusion reached by experts who analyzed studies that evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different methods of penis enlargement.
Marco Ordena and Paolo Gonero from the University of Turin claim that more and more men want their penis to grow because they are dissatisfied with their size. Hence the great interest in various methods that can affect the size of the male genital organ.
Italian researchers analyzed 10 reliable studies that evaluated the effectiveness and safety of different methods of penis enlargement. Half of them are operative methods tested on 121 people.
Minimally invasive techniques that do not require the use of a scalpel have been tested on 109 people. One of them is stretching the penis. This is helped by an extender that exerts force on the phallus, which varies from 600 to 1500 grams.
Stretchers work on the same principle as devices that have been used for many years to lengthen limbs, especially the legs. In plastic surgery, the surface area of a patient’s skin is enlarged during stretching for subsequent transplantation.

Orders and Gonero claim that you can also enlarge your penis this way. One of the studies they quoted showed that extenders actually lengthen it by an average of 1. 8 cm, and another study showed that thanks to this method, the penis lengthens by 2. 3 cm.
However, this method is problematic. In the first study mentioned, the extender was to be used 6 hours a day for 4 months.
In another, the device had to be worn 4 hours a day, 6 months.
Equally problematic to use, but not very effective, was the penis enlargement vacuum pump, which operates through a low pressure area. Orders and Gonero warn that even if used for six months, it may not significantly affect the size of the genital organ.
However, both researchers admit that some of the men who used the pump had psychological benefits because they were satisfied with the pump.
However, cock rings at the base of the penis, which help maintain more blood in the corpus cavernosum, can be helpful. "These rings can increase the size of the penis and prolong an erection, especially for men who suffer from psychological anxiety, " say Italian experts. However, they admit that they have analyzed only two documented cases of testing this method.
Orders and Gonero also tested the effectiveness of fairly popular exercises that are supposed to improve blood circulation and thus enlarge the penis.

In 1970, they were proposed by dr. Brian Richards from the UK. He claimed in one of the sexology magazines that he tested this powerful method on 32 people. In 28 of them, the penis lengthened by an average of 3. 5 cm, while the volume increased by about 3 cm.
But Italian researchers do not confirm that. Their analysis did not show that exercises to improve the supply of the penis allow it to significantly lengthen or even increase the girth.
However, you can find a significant number of techniques on the World Wide Web, including jelqing, that have a really positive effect. True, in order to achieve the desired result, the stronger sex must work for months. The process can be accelerated with special gels and creams based on natural ingredients, whose action is aimed at stimulating the growth of penis tissue.
Actual penis enlargement is possible surgically, usually 2-3 cm. In an operation called a ligamentotomy, the specialist cuts the ligaments of the penis that attach the phallus to the pelvic bone. It therefore extends outwards from the perineum, but must be further stretched within six months by means of a special device in the form of an extension.
Unfortunately, after such an operation, sexual performance can suffer, because with increasing length, the risk of problems with filling the corpora cavernosa increases.

The penis can also be completely reconstructed, but this procedure, called phalloplasty, is only offered to people with an anatomical defect, the micropenis (less than 7 cm long).
This technique involves removing the skin from the forearm, twisting it into the shape of the penis, and inserting it into the penis with an artificial urethra and inflatable dentures.
The penis thus constructed remains sensitive to stimuli because its surface is covered with micropenic tissues. Also, medicine offers methods during which fragments of fat or muscle are transplanted.
